It's Friday Somewhere

So after announcing that I was going to start posting Four Weddings and an Asgardian Funeral on September 10th, I accidenally posted it on Ao3 a day early. I have been laboring under the belief that today was Friday since sometime yesterday--oh my God, I'm an idiot. 

I even wear a smartwatch that displays the day of the week and date in the upper corner, but did I notice until it was too late? Nope. 

There's not much I can do about it now. I can wait until tomorrow to start posting on Fanfiction.net, but I don't think I ought to take it off Ao3 when it's already up. I've even had someone add it to a collection already.

It's probably not that big of a deal, right? Technically, it's already early Friday, September 10th in half the world, including places where some of my readers live. It's just not Friday in the half I live in. Besides, there's no way to unpublish something from Ao3 without deleting it, so unless I want to have to completely redo my tags and everything, here's really no going back.

I'll post something tomorrow, just in case anyone who didn't bookmark the series was planning to look for it on the day I said it would be coming out. I'm thinking about posting one of my Photoshop mock-ups of Frigga's wedding invitations, which I was thinking about doing anyway. Or I might write a short "omake theater" sort of thing.
